ABOUT FASHION WEEK ALABAMA
Fashion Week Alabama (FWA) was established in 2011 as a State-wide economic and community initiative to promote the creative fields of fashion & accessory design, modeling, hair design, make-up artistry and photography. Proceeds from the 2013 fashion week will go to The Studio Shelter. The Alabama Fashion Alliance is the all-volunteer group behind the Fashion Week Initiative, made up of professionals and business owners in North Alabama.
ABOUT THE STUDIO
The Studio, a 501-3(c) organization, is a street outreach program designed to have a steady and trusted presence within the community, in order to build caring relationships in which staff may teach youth the dangers of living on the street and provide other options. The Studio falls under the Tennessee Valley Family Services umbrella.
